I was trying to think of somebody who played themselves in a fictional setting in Toobworld who could be considered the essence of Americana. For Christmas and Halloween, it's easy to find such celebrities who are always thought of in connection to those holidays. But I was having a hard time coming up with somebody for Thanksgiving.
And then I thought - maybe because I'm stuck in that New England Norman Rockwell vision of America at Thanksgiving. Maybe if I turned my attention elsewhere.
And then it came to me!

This would have been a better fit back in August, but the Duke had the Two For Tuesday slots sewed up.
Roy and Dale were inducted into the TV Crossover Hall of Fame in May of 2002.
